Serves as a function/business/product compliance risk officer for Independent Compliance Risk Management (ICRM) responsible for coordinating with stakeholders across the Major Business Lines (MBL) to provide credible challenge to the business on Enterprise Risk Management Framework activities to ensure that Citi is operating within its risk appetite related to Consumer and Client Protection Risk (CCPR). These activities include, but are not limited to, Risk Appetite Statement, Risk Identification, Risk Appetite Assessments, and identification, measurement and monitoring of metrics that inform the Risk Appetite. Additionally, this role is responsible for risk reporting activities that provide a horizontal view of risk across the firm.    

Responsibilities:

Providing effective credible challenge to the business on key Enterprise Risk Management Framework activities including Risk Appetite Statement, Risk Identification, Risk Appetite Assessments and Metrics.Coordinating with 1st and 2nd line stakeholders across Major Business Lines to ensure a consistent and balanced view of Customer Client Protection Risk.Implementing independent second line reporting on CCPR risk to identify areas of concentrated risk within the business.Assisting in the design, development, delivery and maintenance of best-in-class Compliance, programs, policies and practices for ICRM.Providing guidance on rules and regulations relating to function/business/product operational issues, as well as provide transactional approvals and interpretation of internal compliance policies.Assisting with regulatory inquiries and/or examinations. This may include coordination with regulators and other parties.Collaborating with other internal areas including Legal, Business Management, Operations, Technology, Finance, other Control Functions, and In-Business Risk to address compliance issues which may impact the supported function/business/product.Supporting the function/business/product in performing timely compliance reviews of new products.Assisting in the development and administration of Compliance training for the supported function/business/product.Researching any new reform rules and rule changes and implementing policies, procedures or other controls necessary to comply with the rules.Additional duties as assignedAppropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:

Working knowledge of Consumer Protection laws, rules, and regulations including Reg Z, UDAAP, ECOA / Reg B, SCRA, MLA, FCRA, Fair Lending requirements, Reg BI, MiFID preferredKnowledge of Compliance laws, rules, regulations, risks and typologiesMust be a self-starter, flexible, innovative and adaptiveStrong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively and with people at all levels of the organizationStrong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to both work collaboratively and independently; ability to navigate a complex organization

Education:

Bachelor’s degree; experience in compliance, legal or other control-related function in the financial services firm, regulatory organization, or legal/consulting firm, or a combination thereof; strong working knowledge of function/business/product supported and the related operations and financial requirements; Advanced degree preferred

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:

$125,760.00 - $188,640.00
