Job Purpose The primary purpose of this role is to ensure that all products meet relevant regulatory standards and safety requirements in our target countries. This involves staying updated on regulatory changes, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring that products are safe and compliant before they reach the market. Job Duties and Responsibilities • Ensure products and solutions meet regulatory requirements and standards, working with external labs and certification bodies. • Conduct product safety and compliance evaluations. • Conduct internal audits and inspections. • Perform risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies. • Develop and implement compliance policies and procedures. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance throughout the product lifecycle. • Provide compliance training and support to staff. • Prepare compliance reports and presentations. • Submit regulatory reports and filings. • Monitor regulatory changes and report compliance status to senior management. • Investigate and resolve compliance issues, communicating effectively with management. Required Skills • Effective communication, organization, and time management skills • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent discipline with at least 5+ years of experience in compliance and regulatory roles. • Knowledge in EMC & Safety Standards. • Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. • Takes ownership of work and completes it efficiently and on time. • Team player who puts the success of the team first. • Ability to multi-task without losing effectiveness. • Shares knowledge and expertise with others. • Analyzes data, evaluates results, forms conclusions, and implements improvements. • Ability to rapidly acquire new skills and learn on the job. • Effective communication, organization, and time management skills. Desired Skills • Familiarity with compliance management software and other relevant technology. • Understanding of software compliance and IP. • Training skills on compliance policies, practices, and reporting systems. • Demonstrates leadership skills to serve as the manager delegate when needed, handling delegated activities and responsibilities.
