Compliance Risk Analytics Specialist, Assistant Vice President, Hybrid

Who we are looking for

As the Compliance Risk Analytics Specialist, Assistant Vice President, you will be based in Krakow or Gdansk, Poland, reporting directly into the SSBI head of Compliance Methodology, based in Germany.

In this role, you will support the execution of the SSBI Compliance Risk Assessment, the Compliance Monitoring and Testing Plan, and various compliance risk management reports, by providing key data insights and analytics. You will design and maintain compliance risk dashboards and SharePoint tools, preparing and analyzing datasets to support stakeholders throughout the Compliance team. You will also support the development and production of key compliance metrics, and ensure appropriate data governance. You will analyze processes and develop innovative solutions to drive efficiency and strengthen controls and oversight, for example through automation.

The ideal candidate for this role has previous experience in risk or data analytics roles. We are looking for a Power BI / Metrics enthusiast, who is comfortable managing large sets of data so that it can be presented it in a clear and concise manner.

What you will be responsible for

Create and maintain existing compliance risk dashboards

Prepare data insights to support the Compliance Risk Assessment, Compliance Monitoring and Testing Plan, as well as to provide support throughout the Compliance team

Own and design Compliance Methodology SharePoint

Support the design and production of Compliance Risk metrics

Ensure appropriate data governance for key metrics

Design innovative solutions and deploy modern technologies to strengthen controls and enhance oversight of the bank’s compliance risks

Improve existing processes through automation

Knowledge of data governance principles (e.g., BCBS 239) a plus
 

Education & Preferred Qualifications

Completed university degree in a related discipline

Three to five years of experience in a related field (e.g., financial services, banking, consulting, audit)

Relevant experience in a risk or control function of a highly regulated, international firm

Fluency in English

LEAN, Agile, Six Sigma certifications a plus

Strong IT skills (Outlook, Word and Excel)

Proficiency with data visualization tools (Power BI preferred)

Proficiency with Microsoft Power Platform tools and Python a plus
