ISS STOXX is growing! ISS STOXX is actively seeking a Compliance Risk Assessment Analyst to join the Mumbai team (Goregaon East).
Overview:
The ISS STOXX Compliance department is looking to add a Compliance Risk Assessment Analyst in building its Compliance Management System (CMS). This individual will be part of a team that has day-to-day responsibility for the organization and implementation of 2nd line of defense compliance controls in relation to compliance risks affecting ISS STOXX. This work will be performed in close cooperation with subject matter experts in the wider team. The candidate must be able to gain a sufficient understanding of a broad range of regulatory topics and related business processes within a short timeframe and must be able to perform with a high attention to detail. The role is located within our Governance & Corporate Compliance team.
Responsibilities:
Creating and updating legal inventories under the lead of subject matter experts in Compliance
Drafting and maintaining risk-based control plans in cooperation with the business and subject matter experts in Compliance
Work with the business and subject matter experts in Compliance, as applicable, to review and test first line compliance controls based on the plan and identify potential gaps
Advise the business on mitigation measures related to generic compliance risks
Monitoring of and reporting on the implementation of mitigation measures
Supporting the creation and maintenance of Compliance Risks Assessment Framework (CRAF)
Interact with the Risk Management function
Qualifications:
Master's/Bachelor's degree in any related field is preferred.
Three years' experience in a similar role;
Strong verbal and written communication skills;
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously;
High level of accuracy and attention to detail;
Independent initiative and critical thinking skills;
Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office.
