ADP is hiring a Compliance Specialist

In this role, you will be part of a dedicated Compliance team to help protecting ADP’s business and clients against one of the major compliance risks: the use of third-party services. In this context, we are looking for someone able to explore and assess the risk inherent to the use by ADP of third-party payroll providers, with this particularity that our providers manage our clients’ most sensitive information: their employees’ payroll data.

In this context, you will be assisting with periodic compliance assessment activities to ensure our third-party payroll providers meet regulatory requirements as well as ADP’s exact quality, ethical and security standards. More specifically, you will provide support with due diligence, risk assessments, sanction screenings and administrative compliance-related tasks, under the supervision of the Global Payroll Compliance Manager.

 

WHAT YOU'LL DO: 

 

What you can expect on a typical day:  

You will perform compliance impact assessments on our third-party payroll providers. You will conduct due diligences (including sanction screening activities) on our third-party payroll providers to identify potential risks and identifying ways to mitigate the risks. You will track and follow up on the evolution of the above activities, ensuring timely and accurate execution. You will monitor the data retention process to ensure it is aligned with data protection and ADP privacy policy. You will be the team administrative gatekeeper by ensuring and maintaining accurate records and documentation associated with the compliance function and by generating compliance and other related reports at regular intervals. You will also identify opportunities to enhance compliance processes and procedures, and assist in implementing improvements You will work closely with other ADP departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination of compliance efforts. You will also regularly interact with our third-party payroll providers to ensure they meet their regulatory requirements and comply with ADP policies. You will also assist with special / ad hoc compliance related tasks, as required.

 

TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE:

You have a bachelor’s degree in law, in Business Administration, Finance, Economic or related fields; and/or, between 1-3 years of proven experience in a compliance, legal or audit role. You are fluent in English (oral and written).

In addition:

You have analytical mindset with the ability to assess complex information and identify potential compliance risks. We need someone able to understand problems, identify cause-and-effect relationships and potential solutions. You have a strong attention to detail. We are looking for someone able to notice patterns, catch errors, inconsistencies and discrepancies that others may overlook. You have strong administrative and organizational skills. The role requires performance of various administrative compliance-related tasks such as safekeeping important documents, organizing files, managing databases and report generation. We therefore need someone who: Has a methodical approach, ensuring that no task is left incomplete, or instructions misunderstood. Has effective organization and time management skills.   Has the flexibility to manage a variety of tasks and adapt to changing priorities. You have written and verbal communication skills. Your role will involve the need to explain and simplify complex concepts or ideas so that internal and external stakeholders with less technical or compliance knowledge will be able to easily understand. You have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook, as you will need to use these tools daily to ensure that you can handle all the above.
