Responsibilities
+ Reporting to the VP of Clinical Practice and Quality, the Compliance Specialist performs and/or oversees a variety of associated administrative, staff support, and planning activities in support of the Compliance Team
+ Maintains compliance matters database and coordinates the intake of compliance complaints daily. Conducts QA reviews of database on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis
+ Assists with monitoring & auditing compliance metrics required by the Company
+ Assists with the preparation of reports for the Board of Directors
+ Helps the Chief Compliance Officer with implementing the Compliance Work Plan and assists with monthly reporting of Compliance & Healthy Insurance Portability Accountability Act efforts and investigations
+ Provides assistance at multiple levels as needed in order to complete projects on time and stay in compliance with Company and regulatory requirements
+ Provides administrative support to the team to include preparing, proofing and editing documents; managing staff calendars, timekeeping and communications, scheduling meetings, and organizing and maintaining electronic and hard copy files
+ Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
+ Bachelor degree preferred; will consider applicants with experience in a compliance/internal audit related environment in lieu of degree
+ At least two years of experience in compliance, internal audit, basic law or paralegal positions strongly preferred
+ May substitute Masters degree or other advanced degree for years of experience
+ Unquestionable ability to manage highly confidential information
+ Analytical skills with the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions

Salary Range
USD $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 / Year
