About this opportunity:

At Ericsson, we're seeking a reliable and forward-thinking Compliance Subject Matter Expert responsible to ensure that employees are aware of and operate according to laws, regulations, and internal policies, including Ericsson’s Code of Business Ethics within the Compliance Officer’s assigned Market Area or Customer Unit. This role helps to manage all elements of Ericsson’s Ethics and Compliance Program within their area of responsibility.


What you will do:


Conflict of Interest Management
-    Guide CU employees on conflict-of-interest categories and disclosure processes.
-    Act as an ambassador to increase awareness across teams.
-    Review, assess, and document potential internal conflicts in Ericsson’s tools.
-    Support PBPs (People Business Partners) and Line Managers in identifying and implementing remediation actions or suggesting appropriate measures.

Internal Investigations
-    Serve as the CU Single point of contact (SPoC) for internal investigations classified as People Function Cases.
-    Coordinate case reviews and implement remediation actions as needed, in collaboration with PBPs and relevant functions.

Remediation Actions
-    Represent the CU Head of People in interactions with the Remediation Committees
-    Ensure the implementation of agreed actions in coordination with PBPs and other stakeholders.

Vetting Processes
-    Act as the CU SPoC for vetting processes, advising PBPs and recruiters on Extended Vetting scope, processes, and tools.
-    Drive the execution of the Extended Vetting process, including handling legal clarifications for CU countries/legal entities.

Training and Awareness
-    Identify training needs for new hires or specific audiences.
-    Plan and deliver training sessions in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.

Compliance Advisory
-    Provide general compliance guidance to the People Function.

 

The skills you bring:
•    Bachelor Legal Degree, Business, Accounting, or other university degree suitable for compliance
•    Fluent communication in English.
•    Proven experience in compliance areas and risk analysis in international companies.
•    Strong knowledge of conflict of interest, anti-bribery and corruption compliance.
•    Good experience in antitrust, competition and data privacy.
•    Solid social skills including the ability to handle internal and external contacts, management of Government authorities and regulators.
•    Multi-cultural awareness.
•    Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing
•    Independent, goal-oriented, structured and systematic way of working.
•    Mexican labor regulations knowledge is a plus.
