Essential Duties And Responsibilities Promotes and provides excellent guest service to experience to both internal and external guests. Assists the Corporate Compliance Manager and Regulatory Compliance Officer in review of policies, procedures and practices to ensure compliance with State, Federal, Tribal and Internal regulations. Works with the human resources staff to ensure Title 31 compliance in training materials, delivery and testing when necessary. Works with revenue audit manager and staff to ensure Title 31 concerns are addressed in a timely and accurate manner during paperwork reviews, when necessary. Updates, maintains and distributes accurate excluded persons lists and databases for use by TGO and enterprise management. Works with gaming internal audit and enterprise management to respond to internal audit reports, following up on corrective actions and ensuring timely resolution for all exceptions. Assists in the writing of enterprise policies and procedures. Reviews Title 31 paperwork and CTRC reporting daily, electronically files CTRC and other reports to the IRS accurately and in a timely manner. Maintains a dependable work attendance record with extremely infrequent absences and/or lateness Performs other special projects and duties as assigned. Supervisory ResponsibilitiesDirectly supervises employees. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees, planning, assigning and directing work, appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Education and/or Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent required. Associate's Degree preferred. Two (2) years of regulatory compliance experience required. Ability to perform the GILA WAY which is as follows; Greet our guest, Interact positively with our guest, Listen actively to our guest; Appreciate our guest. Must have intermediate computer skills with Microsoft Office Suite software. Must be able to work in a smoking environment and must agree to maintain a drug free workplace. Must pass a pre-employment drug/alcohol test and pass a full background check to be certified/licensed prior to employment.
