What do you contribute?
You will independently develop the electrical circuit and board designs as well as complete assemblies for the control of our innovative locomotives from the first draft to series production. You will programme embedded components according to functional and safety-related specifications. You will work hand in hand with the electrical, mechanical and software engineering departments to ensure overall functionality. The selection of components according to system technology requirements is just as much a part of your work as the consideration of current railway standards and safety specifications. Another focus is the implementation of up-to-date functions and diagnostic methods in battery system technology. Together with other trades, you ensure that integration is compliant with regulations, both functionally and in terms of installation.What do you bring along?
You have successfully completed a diploma / master's degree in the field of electrical engineering or IT. You have gained initial relevant professional experience. Ideally, you have gained experience in rail vehicle construction and are familiar with the relevant norms and standards. You are very familiar with working in a laboratory environment in the areas of development, commissioning and testing. You have strong analytical skills and can understand and utilise complex physical relationships. You are proficient in the use of design tools such as Autodesk Eagle, Altium Designer or similar, as well as SAP/PLM. You communicate confidently in German and English. Occasional business trips are no problem for you.What do we offer you?
