Focus on key areas of responsibility/tasks, essential requirements and the most important benefits (keep it generic, especially for multi country posting). **Your main tasks and responsibilities:** + Develop new, continuously improve and optimize existing inspection, repair, upgrade, manufacturing processes and tools. + Reverse engineer and create new component level designs in accordance with all applicable requirements. Perform required engineering analyses and evaluations to ensure best in industry performance characteristics of the components and their perfect integration into the final product. + Support flawless implementation of the processes and smooth new product launches on the company’s and supplier’s shop floors with the utilization of advanced technologies and equipment (NDT/NDE, UT, X-Ray, 3D-Scanning, CNC, Industrial Automation and Robots, etc.). + Develop and execute test plans to validate new components and qualify company and supplier processes, procedures and techniques. + Create and accurately maintain technical documentation including instructions, specifications, 3D-models and 2D-drawings assuring change management, revision control and compliance with the company quality standards (ISO). **To succeed in this role, you will need:** + Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or closely related field of study. + Domain knowledge with 5+ years of work experience in areas of turbomachinery, rotating/stationary equipment or similar machinery design, manufacturing, repair and upgrade. + Deep understanding and extensive application experience of industrial, product development, quality standards (ISO, ASME, ASTM, AWS, etc.) and best practices. + High level of proficiency with advanced CAD / CAE and PLM technologies using Siemens NX, Teamcenter, Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD, ANSYS or similar software tools.Proficient user of office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.). + CAM technology awareness as well as knowledge and practical application of other advanced manufacturing technologies and corresponding equipment is a plus. **What we offer you:** + 11 Paid Holidays + 15 Paid Time Off (PTO) Days + Medical, dental, vision, life & disability + 401K with 6% company match + Employee Assistance Program + Employee Wellness Program + New onsite cafeteria, all meals subsidized (La Porte Service Center) No visa or work permit support can be provided for this role **Sulzer is an equal opportunity employer.
