Components Engineer
Description: Seeking a talented Component Engineer to join our team of highly competent engineering professionals. If you're passionate about the design, development, and support of Digital and RF/Microwave Products, this is the perfect opportunity for you! As a Component Engineer, you will ensure that the electrical components in our modules meet the highest reliability and product life cycle requirements. Key Responsibilities: + Ensure electrical components meet reliability and product life cycle requirements. + Collaborate with a team of engineering professionals on the design, development, and support of Digital and RF/Microwave Products. + Manage BOM (Bill of Material) development and parts standardization using PTC Windchill. + Create Part Control Drawings (SCD, VID) and ensure component selection, screening, qualification, and derating for military and aerospace applications. Basic Qualifications: + Candidates must hold or previously held a U.S. Government Security Clearance + Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology. + 2-5 years of experience in Component Engineering, obsolescence management, or a related field. + Experience with PTC Windchill for BOM development and management. + Experience with parts standardization and technology insertion within the design process. + Experience creating Part Control Drawings (SCD, VID). + Knowledge of component selection, screening, qualification, and derating for military and aerospace applications. + Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Desired Skills: + Active Secret Clearance + Knowledge of circuit card and EEE Parts Material manufacturing processes. + Experience as a component technologist, responsible for the life cycle of electronic components. + Ability to multi-task, handle shifting priorities, and meet project deadlines.
