Fillauer Composites is hiring an Assembly Technician in Salt Lake City, Utah to produce components by assembling lower extremity prosthetics, and subassemblies to meet production schedules.

Your Impact Assembles products using instructions, bills of materials and engineering drawings.Interprets technical documents, such as diagrams, schematics, or other verbal or written instructions.Documents actions by electronically recording labor for each job.Ensures quality standards are met.Identifies any defective items and handles according to established procedures.Resolves assembly problems by communicating with peers, lead or manager.Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with company standards.Uses hand tools, power tools, custom fixtures, drill presses, arbor presses, heat guns, epoxies, glues, and primers. Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma, GED or equivalentGood understanding of quality control principlesAttention to detailAbility to work independently, and safelyAnalytical skills with ability to use tools/take measurementsMust work well in a team environmentGood communications skillsHighly organized with the ability to meet deadlines and work effectively under pressureAbility to work a 40-hour work week, and have a flexible shift. Morning or afternoon shift may be required.
