Job Title: Composite Technician
Job Description

We are seeking a mid-level Composite Technician to produce parts, components, and final assemblies using composite fabrication. This position will interface directly with Customer, Manufacturing, Engineering, Flight Test, and UAS Flight Operations Staff.

ResponsibilitiesProduce parts, components, and final assemblies using composite fabrication techniques.Work with aerospace composite part processes including prepreg layup, laser projection of ply and detail locations, debulking, bagging, curing, and trimming.Perform aerospace assembly processing including bond preparation, adhesive bonding, drilling, and fastener installation.Work according to engineering drawings and detailed work instructions.Utilize hand tools and measurement devices including drills, wrenches, saws, tape measures, micrometers, scales, etc.Essential SkillsHigh School GraduateExperience with aerospace composite part processes including prepreg layup, laser projection of ply and detail locations, debulking, bagging, curing, and trimming.Experience with aerospace assembly processing including bond preparation, adhesive bonding, drilling, and fastener installation.Ability to lift 35 lbs often and work standing up for a full 8-hour shift.Proficiency in using hand tools and measurement devices including drills, wrenches, saws, tape measures, micrometers, scales, etc.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with engineering drawings and detailed work instructions.Work Environment

This position is onsite in a manufacturing environment in Madison, Alabama, working with composite materials. The role involves standing for an entire 8-hour shift and frequently lifting up to 35 lbs.
