Job Title: Pharmaceutical Compounder
Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Pharmaceutical Compounder to join our Production department. The ideal candidate will receive comprehensive training and may be assigned to work in Granulation, Blending, Compression, Coating, Dispensing, or the Technical Service Department based on project requirements. This role involves ensuring proper inventory of consumables, adhering to procedures and policies, and maintaining high standards of production quality.

ResponsibilitiesFollow all procedures and policies in the manufacturing facility.Read and stay updated on the latest versions of SOPs and document the same in the training record.Clean, set up, and operate all related equipment in the manufacturing facility.Produce pharmaceutical products according to cGMP standards.Adhere to Good Documentation Practices.Coordinate with the Quality Assurance Department for line clearance after major or minor cleaning.Work with the Engineering Department or Production Supervisor for any equipment or facility breakdowns with an appropriate work order.Act as a trainer to new employees and/or operators from other processing equipment.Perform other tasks as deemed necessary by the Production Supervisor.Essential SkillsBasic knowledge of the manufacturing facility, equipment, and the working principles of the equipment.Technical skills required to troubleshoot problems encountered during manufacturing.Experience in pharmaceutical compounding, mixing, blending, compressing.Pharma GMP experience.Good documentation practices.Additional Skills & QualificationsHigh School Graduate or equivalent experience within a pharmaceutical facility.Proficiency in the operation of oral solids pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment.Basic computer skills, with some understanding of MS Word and Excel being a plus.Strong communication skills to manage departmental and inter-departmental coordination.Ability to perform basic math, read, write, and handle stress produced by time pressure and customer demands.Physical ability to access all laboratory, manufacturing, and office areas, climb ladders safely, wear required PPE, read written documents, use a computer, sit or stand, walk for prolonged periods, and lift up to 100 lbs.Attention to detail and legible writing.Work Environment

Our growing Manufacturing Department operates from 8 AM to 4 PM or 9 AM to 5 PM, with the option to work four 10-hour days. The company offers a family-like environment and stable finances. Shifts are available on weekdays and weekends. The role requires working in a dynamic and expanding manufacturing environment.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00
