Job Title: Compounder
Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Compounder to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for weighing components used in batches, making pre-blends for larger batches, and ensuring thorough and correct blending. This role requires accurate documentation, monitoring inventory, and following all safety rules. You will also be required to complete daily scale checks, calibrations, and all necessary sanitation tasks.

ResponsibilitiesWeigh components used in batches.Document pre-weighs correctly.Make pre-blends for larger batches.Monitor batching to ensure thorough and correct blending.Complete daily scale checks and calibrations.Monitor inventory needed for batches and notify the supervisor or Purchasing Department for re-orders.Fill out correct pick-ticket and transfer sheets for OTC products.Follow all safety rules.Complete all required sanitation tasks including tanks, work surfaces, and equipment.Perform additional general cleaning as needed.Make additions of salt to water softener.Complete all required paperwork.Essential SkillsMinimum of 6 months of experience in compounding, batching, blending, mixing, or Chemical Operations.Experience in a regulated industry preferred.High School Diploma or GED.6+ months of forklift experience.Additional Skills & QualificationsBasic math skills (fractions, decimals, and conversions).Forklift experience (sit down).Work Environment

This position is based in an OTC manufacturing facility. We offer various shifts including 2nd shift (2:45 PM to 10:45 PM, Monday through Friday), 3rd shift (10:45 PM to 6:45 AM, Monday night through Friday night), AM weekend shift (7 AM to 7 PM, Friday through Sunday - work 36 hours and get paid for 40 hours!), and PM weekend shift (7 PM to 7 AM, Friday through Sunday - work 36 hours and get paid for 40 hours!). If you are slightly underqualified for the Compounder role, you may be considered for the Preweigher position, which involves reading a pick list, gathering ingredients, weighing empty batch cans for tare weight, and adding the correct weights of ingredients for staging.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $41600.00 - $42640.00/yr.
