The Role: Compounding Production Lead

A great opportunity has become available for a Full Time, Permanent position to join the ANZ Compounding Operations team, reporting directly to the Compounding Manager.

Based in our Canning Vale site in Perth you will be responsible for the organization of production according to demand and quality standards. While looking for ways to optimize current production procedures, the ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of production procedures and will ensure the smooth and cost-effective flow of production operations.

Shift Timing:

Monday to Friday, availability from beginning until end of production and rotated with Manager and other senior staff as necessary. Candidates must have flexibility to perform duties outside of hours where required

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure efficient allocation of resources to manage production volumes effectively, minimise overtime and maintain optimal workflow throughout the compounding process.Roster ownership Responsibility for day-to-day workflow, including supervision of Flow Controllers and Session Controllers (where applicable)Drive process improvement and efficiency programs, including increasing productivityConduct regular needs analysis and identify gaps in labour resources equipment, or processes.Participates in all aspects of production, to focus on broader operational needsProactively engage in daily operational reviews, both in morning (AM) and afternoon (PM) to asses and present production needs and any operational challenges.Regularly reporting back to Pharmacy Manager (if appropriate) daily,Organise monthly Session controller meetings to monitor and enhance performance levels.Regular and pro-active customer contact regarding delivery timeframes or production issues to ensure customer expectations are metProblem solving – collaboration with customer serviceResolving delivery issues -collaborating with the dispatch teamEnsure quality and EHS standards and procedures are being maintained Initial point of escalation for quality issues or complaintsAccountable for maintaining strong working relationships with employees, Team Leaders and customers through effective, regular and appropriate communication Be part of leadership team developing and driving a positive team culture Ensure Training metrics are on track by scheduling training and balancing the day to meet operational needsProviding feedback to Team Leaders on individual performance when requiredFoster a culture of accountability and ownershipDirect reports: Managing production focus roles which can include SCs, dispatch co ords, stock controllers

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

Qualifications:

Relevant production experience and demonstrated understanding of Pharmacy Service operations at a site level
