The role: Compounding Team Leader

We have an opportunity for a highly driven and motivated leader to join our Compounding Pharmacy team based in our Coorparoo facility in a Full Time, Permanent position.

Working alongside our diverse group of managers, you will be collaborating in expanding and leading our highly performing multicultural team to meet business and customer requirements, as well as driving engagement in the positive culture of our Compounding Team, whilst assisting in overseeing production and supporting the Compounding Manager to meet quality, operational and business metrics.

Your key focus for this role will include people management, production efficiency, supporting and maintaining quality standards, customer satisfaction, and productivity improvements.

Shift: Monday to Friday. Flexibility across operational hours required depending on business requirements between 07:00 am – 21:00 pm


Key Responsibilities:

Driving the implementation of company initiatives and embedding them into the team cultureManagement of staff resourcesManagement of staff time and attendance systems as well as performance reviews and career developmentRecruitment of staffOversight of production flow by liaising with appropriate coordinatorsDrive process improvement and efficiency programsEnsure quality standards and procedures are being maintainedParticipate and contribute to site audits, where appropriateCustomer relationship management – directly with customers as well as liaison with Sales and Marketing to manage relationshipsOversight of delivery issue resolutionSave and Sustain Lives

Skills and Qualifications:

Relevant experience in Goods ManufacturingDemonstrated sound leadership qualities and/or people management experienceProven effective communication skillsProven ability to make timely decisions based on sound professional judgement and consideration of risksDemonstrated ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholdersKnowledge of the Code of Good Manufacturing Practice (favourable)
