Job Summary

We are looking for a CFD Engineer who will be responsible for giving accurate simulation of design in Qingpu Plant for Pressure Management. The role will coordinate with teams in Qingpu plant. Understand and initiate the implements. If you possess the requirements we are seeking for, this exciting role is for you!      

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:                                                                                            

●Develops and validates FEA and CFD models for design concept development, design validation and process troubleshooting.

●Delivers concise and accurate simulation result by generating technical reports and present results to internal and external customers.

●Verifies simulation results with testing. Demonstrates agreement of simulation with actual measurement.

●Implements process improvements and coordinates trainings of new methods to NPD teams.

●Improves the utilization efficiency of existing FEA and CFD software, explores software in new applications and tests new software.

●Works with Design Engineers to develop, deploy and document new FEA and CFD processes and analytical techniques.

●May perform other special projects or duties as required.

You persist in accomplishing objectives despite obstacles and setbacks. You effectively communicate in various settings: one-on-one, small and large groups, or among diverse styles and position levels. You understand that different situations may call for different approaches.

For This Role, You Will Need:

●Minimum of Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Fluid Dynamics or related field and equivalent.

●Minimum 2-3 years of relevant industry experience with 2 years of experience with CFD software.

●Proficient in Microsoft Office suites and 3D modeling design package.

●Strong written and verbal communication skills both in English and Chinese are required.

●Demonstrated ability to work in a cooperative and team oriented environment as well as independently.

●Strong interpersonal skills, good oral and written communication skills, initiative. 

●Good presentation skills in English. 

●Learn quickly, self-driven, positive working attitude.

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

●Flow control industries background is preferred.

●Familiar with design rules, codes and industry standards for valves, pressure vessels and mechanical components will be added advantage.

●Presentation skill is preferred.
