We are looking for a Computational Physicist/Biophysicist with experience in scientific research, analysis and/or engineering.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:
Masters/PhD equivalent degree in biomedical engineering, applied mathematics, physics, computer science, electrical engineering, numerical analysis, and/or related fields
2+ years relevant laboratory experience in academic or industrial setting.
Quick, self-directed learner
Experience with Python, C/C++, MATLAB, Linux shell scripting, version control systems (e.g., git)
Experience with physics-based modeling and simulation software
Experience with research communication (papers, conference presentations, etc.)
Strong fundamentals in physics and mathematics relevant to radiofrequency propagation in complex media (e.g., electrodynamics, thermodynamics)
Familiarity with physics-based modeling techniques (e.g., FDTD, FEM)
Experience with computational electromagnetics, thermal modeling, multi-physics modeling
Experience with high-performance computing
Experience with uncertainty/sensitivity analysis
Qualifications:
U.S Citizenship required
Active DoD Secret Security Clearance or the ability to obtain one required
Must be a highly motivated, well organized, and independent thinker with strong problem-solving skills, and great attention to detail.
Must be comfortable working in a highly innovative and fast-pace environment and have a strong ability to cope with change.
Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
