As a Qualcomm Software Engineer, you will design, develop, create, modify, and validate embedded and cloud edge software, applications, and/or specialized utility programs that launch cutting-edge, world class products that meet and exceed customer needs. Qualcomm Software Engineers collaborate with systems, hardware, architecture, test engineers, and other teams to design system-level software solutions and obtain information on performance requirements and interfaces.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 6+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.
OR
Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 5+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.
OR
PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 4+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.

• 3+ years of work experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.

Responsible to lead a small team of software and system engineer for Windows on Snapdragon systems-level power and performance optimization, tool development and hardware debugging. Self-motivated individual who can proactively recognize challenges and set actionable goals for the team to make an impact. 

Act as regional technical lead for compute chipset, software and reference hardware power and DoU.  Manage China local application power optimization ranging with contents from productivity, enterprise, social medial, gaming and AI.  Able to identify platform issues and perform power competitive analysis. In this position, the technical area has covered whole system include CPU, GPU, NSP, DDR, Multimedia, WIFI, Modem, and so on.

May require travel to work with China domestic lead OEMs and ODMs

Must regularly interact with global teams (US and India) and local teams including cross functional teams from chipset product, marketing, sales, customer engineering and test to make Windows on Snapdragon successful in the China market.

Hands on experience for chipset system power and performance, related software and tool development experience is a must.Technical Knowledge in ARM CPU architecture, CPU Scheduler/GPU/NSP, Kernel, embedded system and software framework is a plus. Must Posses excellent related system analytical and debugging skills.Previous engineering team management and performance management experience is a plus.Good communication skills both in Chinese and English

Minimum Qualifications:
Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 8+ year of compute or mobile software and/or power optimization related work experience.
