Conduct research into fundamental computer and information science as theorists, designers, or inventors. Develop solutions to problems in the field of computer hardware and software for the Combat Capabilities Development Command (CCDC) Command, Control, Computers, Communications, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C5ISR) Center.

Responsibilities

· Provide engineering and program management support to the Radar Division

· Conduct program planning, project control, systems engineering, testing, data analysis, MATLAB, Python, C++ coding, technology evaluation and technical writing efforts

· Provide assistance through all phases of the acquisition life cycle, including technology demonstrations, proof of principle, engineering development and production

· Provide technical and program management support in R&D as well as ACAT level programs

· Provide technical support for PQT, first article testing, and evaluation of ECPs

· Provide technical support for operational life-cycle sustainment

· Develop and deliver Test Plans, Test Procedures, and Test Reports to support the development, production, sustainment, and enhancement of these technologies

· Prepare Technical Reports and presentation material

· Develop Project Schedules and Interface Control Documents

· Participate in IPTs and design reviews

· Develop and modify user interfaces

· Perform Modeling and simulation of various radar technologies

· Analyze and evaluate radar systems

· Analyze, evaluate, and exploit data products

· Conduct technical studies and assessments

· Develop and maintain algorithms and Interface Control Documents

· Prototype and develop new analysis software, radar signal and data processing algorithms using MATLAB, Python, C++, Java and/or other similar programming languages

· Develop simulation capabilities (including digital twins) or emulators that simulate or emulate radar performance and radar data for the functional areas of these technologies

· Develop hardware in the loop capabilities to support the development and validation of capabilities in a closed loop RF environment

· Provide technical support throughout the technology development phase

Qualifications

Required:

 

· MS/PhD degree in Engineering, Physical Sciences or equivalent from an accredited university with 10 years of experience

· Minimum of five (5) years of demonstrated experience supporting a research environment with an appropriate knowledge base pertaining to defined work sensors development.

· Demonstrated supervisory experience

· TS/SCI Clearance
