This role requires a deep understanding of network infrastructure, server virtualization, and cloud transition, as well as a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of cyber security. _Due to federal security clearance requirements, applicant must be a United States Citizen or Permanent Resident with an active Public Trust clearance._ Rate: $55 - $65 / hr. w2 **Responsibilities:** + Lead and manage complex projects related to computer design, software development, and network infrastructure. + Design, implement, and maintain secure and efficient network systems and server virtualization solutions. + Develop and oversee software development projects, ensuring adherence to best practices in object-oriented programming and software configuration. + Drive cloud transition initiatives, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance. + Provide technical expertise and leadership in cyber engineering and cyber security, implementing robust security measures to protect organizational assets. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align IT strategies with business objectives and industry standards. + Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement. + Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends, applying this knowledge to enhance organizational capabilities. **Experience Requirements:** + Master’s degree in Computer, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering, or Mathematics with a concentration in computer science, plus ten (10) years of relevant experience; or + Bachelor’s degree in the aforementioned fields, plus fourteen (14) years of relevant experience. + At least five (5) years of technical experience in areas such as cyber engineering, network infrastructure, server virtualization, object-oriented programming, software development, software configuration, software installation, cloud transition, and cyber security. + Proven IT leadership experience, with a track record of successfully managing and delivering complex projects. + Strong knowledge of industry standards and public service requirements. + Relevant certifications in computer engineering, network security, or related fields are highly desirable. **Skills:** + Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. + Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams. + Proficiency in programming languages and software development tools. + In-depth understanding of network protocols, server virtualization technologies, and cloud computing platforms. + Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. _Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate.
