Computer Hardware Install Technician

We are seeking a detail-oriented IT Hardware Install Technician (Level 1) to join our team. This entry-level role is responsible for deploying and installing IT hardware, including monitors, desktop PCs, headsets, keyboards, and mice at various workstations. The ideal candidate has a basic understanding of IT hardware, follows installation procedures accurately, and ensures equipment is set up correctly for end users.
Key Responsibilities: Unbox, set up, and install monitors, desktop PCs, headsets, keyboards, and mice. Ensure all hardware is properly connected and powered on. Organize and dispose of packaging materials according to company policies. Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Document completed installations and report any issues to the IT Deployment Lead. Work collaboratively with the IT team to meet deployment deadlines.
Qualifications & Skills: Basic knowledge of computer hardware and peripherals. Ability to follow step-by-step installation guides. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to lift and move IT equipment (up to ~50 lbs). Good communication and teamwork skills. Previous experience in IT installations or related work is a plus but not required.
