GENERAL DESCRIPTION\n

Perform CST functions (client-level information technology support) and perform configuration, management, investigation and initial diagnostics of information systems in support of the Air Force's Cyber Warfare Formal Training Courses.\n

DUTIES\n\nPerform a variety of communications activities including desktop support, tracking local network\/system trouble tickets and coordinating support actions with the Enterprise Support Desk and\/or Communications Focal Point\nSet up service for internal and external customers to include installing, connecting, testing, and adjusting equipment\nAddress trouble tickets within established priorities and response time\nRun system diagnostics; determine the causes of hardware, software and network system failures; and document all information systems repairs via local ticketing system\nRemove and replace components and peripherals to restore system operations\nInstall and configure software operating systems and applications\nProvide and maintain computer support systems hardware\/software maintenance records\nInstall, maintain, and repair computer and electronic systems for internal and external networks\nConduct routine and hands-on system touch maintenance for over 1000-2000 desktop systems, peripheral devices, mission and TMS systems; growth is expected here\nPerform repairs to hardware, software, or peripheral equipment, following design or installation specifications for internal and external networks\nMonitor information systems for security compliance and provide patch maintenance for internal and external customers\nDevelop training materials and procedures, and train users in the proper use of hardware or software\nConfer with staff, users, and management to establish requirements for new systems or modifications\nOther Duties as Assigned\n\n

EDUCATION\/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS\n\nMust have a TS\/SCI clearance \nDoDI 8570.1m IAT Level II certification\nAssociate's Degree and 4 years experience OR High School\/GED and 7 years experience\n\n
