Computer Operator  – 12 Months

Westinghouse is seeking a Computer Operater knowledge, skills, abilities, and education required for entry into this job include the following: - In-depth knowledge of the concepts of mainframe computer operations. - Functional knowledge of mainframe and distributed scheduling software, TSO, and JCL. - Knowledge of peripheral computer equipment, such as tape drives and high-speed printers. - Good written and verbal skill.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

Scheduling Software including but not limited to Enterprise Systems Platform (ESP), Control-M and Control-M Enterprise Monitoring Enterprise Batch Operations (z/OS, Unix, Windows) Mainframe Batch Production Monitoring

Required Knowledge, Skills and abilities

High School Diploma and/or related advanced training and certifications such as A+ Certification. ServiceNow, z/OS 1.4(or higher), MVS/ESA-OS/390, JES3 V4, ISPF, CICS, OPS/MVS II, JCL, DB2, TCP/IP Must be able to work a 12-hour night shift, strong written and verbal communication skills
