PRIMARY PURPOSE
Under close supervision a Computer Operator – Associate(I) provides support for the daily operations of computer systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining computer systems, responding to system alerts, and escalating issues when necessary. Additionally, the candidate will assist with routine computer maintenance and updates.
Major Responsibilities
Monitor computer systems and respond to system alerts as required. Perform routine computer maintenance tasks such as backups, file transfers, and system updates. Escalate issues to senior personnel when required. Perform basic troubleshooting of computer systems/network connections, etc. Maintain accurate records of system operations and generate reports as required. Provide technical support to end-users as needed. Ensure the security of the computer systems and data. Operates high speed printers and print management systems. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORKING CONDITIONS
Sitting and standing intermittently throughout the shift. Must be able to lift objects that weigh up to 50 pounds.
This position is part of a 7x24 team and as such may be required to work hours outside of the assigned shift. Weekend and night work may be required.
This position has no exposure to blood, bodily fluids, hazardous waste management or infectious diseases.
This position is onsite – NOT a ‘remote’ position
