Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Computer Science Summer Intern to join our team! In this role you will get to develop software and documentation for an emerging version of our transportation software product. You will be joining an established scrum team as we develop and release the new version of our software.

What You'll Be Doing:

Reviewing technical software bug ticketsDeveloping and debugging backend (Java) softwareDeveloping and debugging frontend (Javascript/React) softwareWriting technical manuals and training guidesCreating technical sales focused writeups for proposal effortsLearning about software development lifecycle, tools, processes and best practices through participation in an established scrum team

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

Basic understanding of software design and developmentAbility to think through software execution and problem solvingFundamental understanding of software development lifecycleStrong writing and communication skills

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

Java software development experienceWorking knowledge of databases and database schema creationBasic understanding and introduction to React frontend developmentBasic understanding of cloud technologies

Salary Range: 

$21.44 - $37.55
