This includes (but not limited to): to develop and/or revise program learning outcomes and curriculum to support the outcomes; develop curriculum maps for both College and Program Learning Outcomes and assessment plans that measure student learning; collect assessment of student learning data and assessment of student learning data and other data provided for Program Review + Participate in department meetings, program advisory committee meetings, and college-wide events; + Maintain technical knowledge in the field through active participation in professional development organizations and events; + Promote and recruit programs within and outside of the College; + Promote diversity and cultural competency; + Perform other duties as assigned by the Academic Dean or Vice President of Academic and Student Affairs. **Minimum Qualifications** + Master’s degree with a major in Computer Science or + Master’s degree in any discipline/field with a minimum of 18 graduate semester credits (27 graduate quarter credits) in Computer Science. **Preferred Qualification** + Two years of community college teaching experience; + Previous teaching experience in an urban two-year college; + Excellent written and oral communication skills; + Ability to work both independently and with a variety of people as a team member; + Knowledge of multi-cultural, gender- and disability-fair curriculum development; + Ability to work with a diverse student body with a broad range of interests and abilities; + Experience with course construction, curriculum development and classroom management; + Experience with web-enhanced and on-line course teaching with the D2L Platform. **Other Requirements** + All resumes must clearly address the Required Qualifications as stated above.
