EUV Source Laser Beam Control group is working on challenges involved in positioning of high power laser beams used in Plasma Creation to generate EUV light in advanced EUV light sources.
Your AssignmentSoftware for the high performance laser beam control actuators is currently being generated.
A key aspect of the model and the code generator is separation of concerns to ensure maintainability and extensibility. You will realize design improvements to the existing generator by applying good separation of concerns in model to model transformations. You will also work on refactoring the meta-model increasing its expressivity in the functional domain. For this you will work with modern model driven engineering technology, applied in a world leading ASML product.
This is a bachelor internship, suitable for both an apprenticeship and a graduation project. The desired internship is at least 4 to 6 months, working 3 to 5 days a week (3 days on-site based on full-time). The start date is as soon as possible.

Are a bachelor student in Computer Science.
Preferably have experience with MDE and shell scripting and have experience with Python and C++.
Are passionate about technology and you are excited by the idea that your work will impact millions of end-users worldwide.
You like to communicate with other departments and want to understand how complex systems work.
You like to work in a team with many design engineers with whom you can exchange technical ideas and discuss technical solution.
Other requirements you need to meet
You are enrolled at an educational instituteĀ for the entire duration of the internship;
You are located in the Netherlands to perform your internship. In case you are currently living/studying outside of the Netherlands, your CV/motivation letter includes the willingness to relocate;
If you are a non-EU citizen, studying in the Netherlands, your university is willing to sign the documents relevant for doing an internship (i.e., Nuffic agreement).
This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. Ā§ 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.
