In this position you will: + Assist in monitoring, updating, and maintaining bronze, silver, and gold data tables in both classified and unclassified environments. + Work with senior team members to optimize system performance and conduct basic troubleshooting for routine technical issues. + Participate in the design and implementation of data pipelines, ensuring data flows efficiently and securely between source systems and target storage. + Support the data quality process by verifying data accuracy, consistency, and completeness under the guidance of experienced analysts. + Contribute to proper access controls, helping manage user permissions and compliance with security protocols. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enable data productization, AI/ML initiatives, and automation projects. + Document processes, system configurations, and updates to maintain clear and detailed knowledge sharing resources. + Assist in CI/CD pipeline activities by conducting basic tests, identifying issues, and updating scripts when necessary. + Carry out automated unit and integration testing tasks to ensure the reliability of new or updated features. + Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, providing feedback and ideas on how to enhance system efficiency and data governance practices. + Assist in Incident Response and System Recovery Efforts – Support troubleshooting efforts during system outages, data discrepancies, or security incidents, working with senior analysts to restore operations quickly. + Support Business Intelligence and Reporting Initiatives – Help develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and data visualizations to provide insights for decision-making and operational efficiency. + Stay Current with Emerging Technologies and Industry Trends – Research and recommend new tools, frameworks, or methodologies that could improve system performance, data integrity, or automation capabilities **Basic Qualifications:** + As a requirement of this position, all candidates must be a U.S. Citizen. In accordance with 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(2)(C) , Epsilon will not consider candidates for this position who do not meet the aforementioned conditions. + 1+ year of hands-on experience working with IT systems or data management in a professional or internship setting. + DOD 8570 IAT Level II Certification may be required (GSEC, GICSP, CND, CySA+, Security+ CE, SSCP or CCNA-Security). + Familiarity with cloud-based platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP) for basic data storage and retrieval. + Exposure to database technologies (e.g., SQL, NoSQL) with an ability to write simple queries and create basic data structures. + Foundational understanding of data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes, including data ingestion and transformation concepts. + Basic knowledge of CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI) with a willingness to learn more advanced automation practices. + General awareness of data security and access control principles, particularly in classified and unclassified environments. + Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) for collaborative software or data engineering projects. + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for identifying system inefficiencies and assisting in implementing solutions. + Ability to communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and users about system issues and solutions. + Demonstrated attention to detail in documentation, testing, and workflow processes. + One or more of the following certifications are desired: AWS Certified Developer, Databricks, Agile/Scrum, Python Programmer **Other:** + Must hold an Active DOD Secret, Top Secret or TS/SCI Clearance + Must be located within a two (2) hour commute of the physical work location **Physical Demands and Working Conditions:** Listed below are the physical or mental requirements necessary for the job's performance.
