Control Air is searching for a highly skilled and motivated Computer Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate for this position will have a strong understanding of desktop operating systems, the ability to solve problems quickly, and understands the importance of exceptional customer service. The Computer Technician will be responsible for ensuring that trouble tickets are resolved in a timely fashion while maintaining a courteous and professional relationship with the teams at Control Air. Responsibilities: • Troubleshooting desktop and laptop computers • Troubleshooting printers, plotters, and all other peripheral devices • Answer incoming calls to the Helpdesk • Setup new workstations with hardware and software • Maintain hardware and software inventories according to departmental standards Requirements: • Proven experiences as a computer technician or a similar role • Experience with basic networking concepts (DHCP, DNS, IP, etc.) • Thorough knowledge of computer systems and IT components • Knowledge of internet and computer security best practices • Exceptional troubleshooting skills • Ability to clearly communicate and provide notable customer service to Control Air teams • Organize tasks and manage time efficiently • Ability to work as part of a team and independently as projects require • College Degree in Computer Science desired, but not required • Relevant certifications desired, but not required • Experience with PKI, Managed certificates desired, but not required • Willing to take on additional responsibilities as they arise • Available to respond to emergencies or tasks outside normal business hours Benefits include the following: + Medical, dental, and vision insurance + 401(k) retirement plan + Life and Long-Term Disability insurance + FSA and additional insurance options + Paid holidays and Paid time off + Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) + $21-27/hour Let’s be honest- life is too short to work at a job that you don’t love.
