**Description of Duties:**
The **COMSEC Alternate Account Manager** supports the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract. The candidate will:
• Be responsible for maintaining control and accountability of all COMSEC material that falls within the guidance of the NSA/CSS Policy Manual 3-16, Control of Communications Security (COMSEC) Material, and other government mandated COMSEC regulations such as those found in the NSA's Key Management Infrastructure, Management Cline Operators Manual (KMI (MGC)).
• Manage COMSEC key material and equipment throughout the Missile Defense Integration and Operations Center (MDIOC) located at Fort Belvoir, VA and surrounding areas as a member of the IRES team.
• Review COMSEC SOP's and EAP's for each COMSEC facility.
• Train and support all COMSEC hand receipt holders within MDIOC's area of responsibility.
• Coordinate COMSEC related issues with the appropriate mission COMSEC Account Manager, Facility Security Officer, and IA Manager.
• Report and investigate COMSEC incidents and practices dangerous to security.
• Conduct the required semi-annual inventories of all COMSEC material held.
• Ensure COMSEC account is maintained in an audit-ready state and readily available for NSA inspections.
• Ensure all required records are maintained. NSA's KMI (MGC) is used to prepare accounting reports, record transfers, possessions, inventories, hand receipts and destruction of COMSEC material.
• Travel may be required for conferences, training, or for mission requirements as necessary.
• The successful candidate will:
• Be able to interact with and advise Government and contractor organizations with COMSEC requirements and related matters.
• Be able to ensure that all COMSEC material is being controlled and accounted for in accordance with the NSA/CSS Policy Manual 3-16 and other COMSEC related security doctrines (e.g. NSTISSIs, CNSSIs etc.).
• Be able to key, configure and do basic troubleshooting of TACLANEs, vIPer phones and other COMSEC CCI material.
• Be able to coordinate various issues involving keying material directly with the appropriate Controlling Authority.
• Be prepared to work non-standard shifts if needed. These shifts may rotate depending on the needs of the customer.
• Be able to work individually or within a team environment to accomplish tasks/meet schedules.
• Be capable of developing training scenarios and documentation to build expertise among teams.
• Be able to document and enforce processes and procedures.
• Have the capacity to work unsupervised.
• Be able to multitask in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, have good communication skills, work well in a team environment and have good interpersonal and leadership skills.
**2 positions are being filled on this requisition. 1 position will be at Schriever Space Force Base, Colorado Springs, CO and the other position will be filled at Redstone Arsenal, Huntsville, AL**

**Basic Requirements:**
Must have one of the following combinations of education and experience: HS Diploma (or GED) and 8 years of general experience; Associate’s degree and 6 years of general experience; Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of general experience; Master’s degree and 2 years of general experience
• Must have 6 years of experience in Operating Systems (e.g. UNIX, Windows); Multiple network types (i.e. LAN, WAN, VxLAN, SDN); or Managing Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) Telecommunications infrastructures.
• Must have an active DoD Secret Clearance.
**Desired Requirements:**
• Have a KMI certification.
• Have an active DoD Top Secret Clearance.
This position is expected to pay **$71,700 - $96,700** annually; depending on experience, education, and any certifications that are directly related to the position.
