A Day in the Life:
This role is to ensure accurate and timely issuance of co-sourced annual concession compliance audits for approximately 300 airport and hotel properties in the United States and Canada, coordinate audit requests from airports and other lessors, and to ensure that our prepaid rent and concessions and concession liabilities are properly accounted for and reported in the Hertz Financial Statements.
We expect the starting salary to be around $55,000: the actual salary will be determined based on years or relevant work experience.

This move is scheduled for November and this location will be the new onsite requirement for this position moving forward. Depending on start date, there may be an instance of where the new hire will temporarily work at the existing location of 5601 NW Expressway until the move occurs. What You’ll Do:
Supervise issuance of approximately 300 concession compliance audits per year:
Provide training, guidance, and technical assistance to the concessions team to ensure timely completion of work Act as a liaison between independent auditors and Hertz management to address any audit concerns and ensure audits are issued timely and without error. Communicate with Hertz Legal and real estate management to identify and resolve discrepancies Review certain concession compliance audits and evaluate propriety of revenue reported and payments remitted Drive concession team to achieve profit impact/operating efficiencies Supervise four staff and oversee college internship program, including recruitment, training, and ongoing evaluation Integrate transitions stemming from system changes Coordinate external requests from airports and other lessors to audit concessions and customer facility charges: Research audit requests and provide supporting documents for reported concession revenue Act as liaison between Hertz management, Legal, and external auditors Confirm propriety of audit findings and ensure corrective actions are implemented Assist in the review of concession agreements and contractual terms Verify findings received and ensure resolutions are met within established target dates Providing explanations on the payment process and which accounts are included in the definition of concession revenue Ensure that our prepaid rent and concessions and concession liabilities are properly accounted for and reported in the Hertz Financial Statements: Monitor the month end accounting close. Approve and monitor completion of monthly journal entries. Review and approve the monthly prepaid rent and concessions and concession liability account reconciliations.
