Concessions Cashier
POSITION: Part-Time Concession Cashier DEPARTMENT: Food and Beverage REPORTS TO: Concessions Manager FLSA STATUS: Hourly/Part-time/Non-exempt Essential Duties and Responsibilities: + Takes guests’ food orders, assembles order, and cashes out the transaction using the POS system. + Handles credit card transactions while maintaining accurate cash handling procedures at all times, ringing all sales into the register. + Maintain safe working conditions and sanitary work area. + Establish and maintain positive client relationships. + Other duties may be assigned. Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. + Must be 18 years of age. + Must be able to work nights and weekends. + Must have basic working knowledge of cash register and cash handling procedures. + Must have basic math skills. + Must have a pleasant personality and a neat appearance . + Must have strong customer service skills. + Must be able to stand for duration of shift. + Must be able to adapt to changes in the work environment, managing competing demands, frequent changes, delays, or unexpected events. + Must be able to prepare food properly in compliance with menu items. + Education and/or Experience: + High school diploma or GED preferred. + One year of customer service and cashier experience. Physical Demands: + This position requires stooping and lifting, substantial standing and walking. Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs. to the waist .
