The Concierge greets and provides support and resource information on the organization, facility and area to patients, families and visitors with the intent of improving the patient experience. The Concierge performs basic administrative/clerical/operational/customer support/computational tasks. Typically works on routine and patterned assignments.
The Concierge welcomes patients to the center in a warm and friendly manner, will take patient information and put names on a waiting list, cleans and organizes the waiting area and restrooms, and interacts with patients as they leave to ensure a positive overall experience. Provides assistance and directions. May provide tours. May serve as a resource to staff who need assistance. Decisions are limited to defined parameters around work expectations, quality standards, priorities and timing, and works under close supervision and/or within established policies/practices and guidelines with minimal opportunity for deviation.
Job Functions:
Greet patient and confirm reason for visit
Ensure patient completes all paperwork prior to meeting with provider and check them in
Provide information regarding visit and answer any questions
Provide new patients with an overall view of the services and tour of location
Make sure the patient is comfortable and offer refreshments (i.e coffee, tea, water)
Communicate with front desk and clinical staff regarding patient arrival
Monitor the lobby to ensure patients are seen in a timely matter and office flow runs smoothly
Check faxes and voicemails regularly
Keep the refreshment area clean and neat at all times. Restock as needed.
Assist patient with any questions or concerns
Complete other tasks or assignments assigned by the office manage

Required Qualifications:
Strong Customer Service background in settings such as: Medical Office, Hospital, Call Centers, Retail, Hospitality, etc.
MUST be Bilingual in English and Spanish
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Must be a team player with a positive attitude
Excellent Communicator and well organized
Computer knowledge
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of Medical Terminology
Direct experience with patients in a Medical Center or Hospital setting
