Cottage Health, in Santa Barbara, has an opportunity for a dynamic and passionate service professional who is seeking career progression within the service industry while helping us create memorable experiences for our guests and patients. Candidate must possess a natural ability for providing humble, personalized, and proactive service through the use of 5 star service standards and have an outgoing personality. This position serves as the face of our organization, also helping promote a safe and secure environment. The ideal candidate will possess progressive experience in the service industry interacting with the public in a fast paced, high volume environment with a minimum of 2 years' of front desk or hospitality experience. Must possess superb communication/interpersonal skills, service recovery/conflict resolution skills, a polished appearance, strong computer literacy, and intermediate MS 2010 Excel & Word skills; typing 35 wpm. Must be able to work varied day/evening shifts, including weekends, and paid holidays.

LEVEL OF EDUCATION
Minimum: Prior customer service course work or training.
TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
Minimum: Intermediate computer skills. Knowledge of database software systems. Typing speed of at lease 35 wpm. Employees hired in before 08/01/2016 can have a typing speed of at least 30 wpm.
Preferred: Knowledge of basic medical terminology and hospital services. Basic knowledge of insurance carriers and types of medical coverage. Bilingual skills.
YEARS OF RELATED WORK EXPERIENCE
Minimum: High-end hospitality and customer service background and experience working with individuals of high net wealth.
Preferred: Healthcare experience
