Job Description

Ōnin Staffing is looking to hire a Concrete Finisher for the Bessemer area.

Job Responsibilities:

Grade and smooth concrete using various tools.Monitor how wind, heat, and cold affect the curing process.Work with concrete and aggregate materials.Achieve the specified finish as outlined in building plans.Adhere to safety guidelines to ensure a secure work environment.Perform additional tasks as directed by the supervisor, including cleanup and housekeeping duties.


Work Experience

Required Skills:

At least 2 years of experience working with concrete.Familiarity with various concrete tools is essential.Proficiency in basic construction math, with a solid understanding of hand and power tools, and general knowledge of blueprints.Experience in grading and operating a vibrator is a plus.Knowledge of various concrete tools is required.Must be able to work on knees, bend for extended periods, and lift over 50 lbs.Willingness to perform any assigned tasks.Clean up concrete after each product is cast.Assist in other areas when concrete is not being poured.Willingness to work overtime as needed, including weekends.
