Through ASRC, we are a certified Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) and Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB), and we also offer 8(a) options. **Position Summary** RSI is currently recruiting a Superintendent toassist in the startup and operation of a concrete production facility in Oak Ridge, TN to support the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) environmental cleanup and private industry construction. **Primary Responsibilities** + Superintendent will support the Project Manager in the overall management, production, and delivery of large quantities of concrete materials. + Superintendent will support the management and acquisition of raw materials and inventory to produce up to 350cy of Controlled Low Strength Material (CLSM) and/or high-performance construction concrete per hour. + Support scheduling and dispatching of order-specific concrete to customer job sites located on DOE property in Oak Ridge. + Supervise plant operator, equipment operator, and laborer including adherence to work schedules and timekeeping. + Ensure the health and safety of the onsite workforce and environmental stewardship of the jobsite operations. + Perform (QA)/quality control (QC) concrete sampling, as needed, and support the effectiveness of the quality program. + Maintain accurate production, delivery, and QC testing records. **Job Knowledge/Qualifications** + The ideal candidate will have construction experience involving the production, use, or delivery of concrete materials. + Must have experience administering health and safety and environmental protocols. + Must have supervisory experience of equipment operators and laborers. + Must have basic computer skills sufficient for record keeping and management. **Required Education and Experience** 8+ years of experiencein performing construction operations, supervision of field personnel, health and safety oversight, QA/QC activities, maintaining field records management, or other relevant activities. Experience supporting various field project management activities such as scheduling, work planning, administering budgets, and performance management.
