Concur Contracting Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented Concur Contracting Specialist colleague to be part of our Global Concur Contracting Team and work on SAP Concur deals and on tasks related to contract creation, contract validation, deal/contract review & structuring, deal support, reviewing systematized contracts, supporting Regional Sales Executives, and closing cases that come into the Contracts Management Team’s queues. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of contract management, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

 

The Global Concur Contracting team supports Sales Executives globally (APJ, EMEA, Americas) with contract creations and contract validation tasks and is part of the Global Commercial Finance (GCF) -Specialized Deal Support CoE which supports Concur, Callidus and OEM LoBs.

 

Daily tasks:

Create contracts based on standard templates for SAP Concur existing and potential new customers. You will be responsible for drafting, modifying, updating, and finalizing contracts, but also reviewing proposed deals submitted by Account Executives. Responding to contracting related inquiries from sales in a timely manner, guiding and advising our internal stakeholders on contracting requirements, approvals, or other internal processes. Manage a variety of commercial contracts/requests in accordance with company policies and procedures, applicable laws, and customer requirements. Identify and suggest resolutions for discrepancies or errors in contract data and documentation. Anticipate issues and initiate actions to resolve them using professional judgment and concepts, company policies and procedures. Work closely with other internal departments and stakeholders from Billing, Deals Desk, Field Services, Product Marketing, Legal, Commercial, and Implementation etc. Supporting projects aiming process improvements, automation, standardization, and efficiency increase. Filing (activations) of all Concur Order Forms into a legal holding folder while adhering to the established naming conventions. Daily management and clearing of Contracting queue. Support of Contracts validations process: Review and validate contract documents for accuracy of terms, products, pricing, promotions, and contract information for compliance with company policies and procedures. Approval and filing of client disconnects related to system shutdowns and service terminations. Facilitate the signing of contracts that require Concur countersignature. Some involvement in deal support/deal approval would be required. Accommodate month-end, quarter-end and year-end deadlines and respond to spikes in workload from the Sales team. Additional tasks as may be directed by Manager.

 

EXPERIENCE AND REQUIREMENTS

Preferably at least 1 year experience with contract creation, contract review and drafting. Preferably working experience with Shared Service Centre and Center of Expertise organizations. Experience with Salesforce/SAP systems is a plus.

 


 EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

Advanced written and spoken English skills. German, French, Portuguese are a plus. Excellent communication skills is a must. Strong team player, proactive mindset and "can do" attitude. Customer-oriented, organized, proactive and with strong follow-up skills. Strong attention to detail: Be able to spot errors, omissions, inconsistency, and ambiguous language. Ability to multitask, prioritize and solve problems with little direct supervision. Good command of MS Office (Excel, Word and Outlook). Able to work within a global team environment effectively, as well as function independently. Ability to remain flexible in a fast paced and rapidly changing environment. Ability to work high volume job queues while maintaining accuracy and adhering to completion deadlines. Proactive in identifying process improvements and delivering value. During quarterly/year end closing, we are expecting you to be willing to work overtime and be available on weekends and bank holidays as needed, for which you will be compensated.
