Condition Monitoring (CMS) Project Engineer, Wind Turbine

As Condition Monitoring System (CMS) Project Engineer, you will be the referent & expert in vibration analytics for the Asset Advisory service lines.
You will contribute to pioneering a new engineering unit within the asset advisory service line and working with the different units and providing diverse services.
+ Perform vibration data analysis from online CMS customers' platforms,
+ supporting SCADA data analytics with the OEYA & PA team
+ Provide health condition of key wind turbine components while merging SCADA & CMS analytics to highlight potential failures or damages before they occur
+ Train the field experts in all types of vibration measurements (drive train, pitch bearings, rotor imbalance, tower oscillation)
+ Gather off-line vibration data from the field expert teams for analysis,
+ Develop an AI software platform for predictive maintenance
+ Execute wind operational energy yield assessments, including monthly operating reports reviews, 10-min SCADA data analysis, alarm logbook and event logs analysis, calculation of wind turbine autocurves, time-based and energy-based availability calculations, long-term correction of the data, energy yield calculations, loss and uncertainty calculations;
+ Execute wind farm performance analysis from high-level reviews to very detailed, including performance review based on monthly operating reports, turbine reliability tests and operational mode reviews, reference wind speed and potential energy calculation, availability and downtime analysis, wind anomaly analysis, wind modelling discrepancies assessment, performance losses calculations, specific losses (environmental, curtailment, operational strategies, electrical, etc.) and uncertainty calculations, waterfall chart analysis, other Key Performance Indicators analysis;
+ Prepare GIS maps for the needs of operational energy yield assessments and performance analysis reports;
+ Any other duty related to operational energy yield assessments and performance analysis such as 3rd party reviews, recalculations, etc;
+ Engineering diploma in mechanics, or electromechanics or generalist.
+ Minimum 3 years experience in the field of remote condition/vibration monitoring and analysis of wind turbines.
+ VCAT-II Vibration Analysis Category II.
+ Experience as CMS engineer for a Wind Turbine Manufacturer &/or a CMS (Condition Monitoring System) service provider&/or for an Asset Manager
+ Experience with different CMS software (BKV, Bachmann, Bently Nevada, SKF, ACOEM, AQ-Tech..); different condition monitoring techniques and various vibration data acquisition systems
+ A thorough understanding of the typical drivetrain failure modes, root cause failure analysis
+ experience with basic data analysis tools and scripting (Python)
+ Fluent in English
