What will I be doing?
We are looking for a Conference & Events Executive focusing on Restaurant Reservations. This person will serve as the main contact for restaurant reservations mainly for The Pem Restaurant, the Blue Boar Pub, as well as Orchard & Hedgerow cocktail Bar and ad-hoc requests for Meeting & Events and therefore, must offer an excellent service and influence the Guest decision to dine with us. Offering excellent customer service, options, and other solutions to meet Guest and customer needs will be a key focus of the position.
\nSpecifically, the following tasks will need to be performed to the highest standards:
\n\nEnsure the accurate administration of all bookings for restaurant reservations and related correspondences including billing details.\nManage telephone and email enquiries in a prompt and professional manner and in accordance with company strategy & standards ensuring accuracy and attention to details at all times.\nMaintain a high level of product knowledge about the different food & drinks venues as well as the hotel and local area.\nEnsure bookings are guaranteed and no show /late cancellation charges are applied where appropriate; and reservations policies and procedures are followed to ensure guest satisfaction\nComplete reservations quality checks in line with restaurant standards.\nRespond to all customers in a highly professional manner, including ensuring all reservations are completed accurately and to the Guest's expectation\nProvide prompt and efficient service while maintaining the brand standards\nTo be responsible for the successful planning and overall execution of small events, dinners, lunches, afternoon teas, etc. that take place within The Pem Restaurant, Blue Boar Pub, as well as Orchard & Hedgerow cocktail Bar. \nEnsures to interact frequently with customers and Guests to learn about their needs and develop relationships from which to earn repeat and expanded business. \nProactively identifying opportunities to upsell and secure incremental revenue for the food & drinks venues.\nExceptional customer service level to ensure that expectation is exceeded and repeat business is secured\nResponsible that all Banquet Events Order are handed over to the Food and Beverage Operations Team / Front Office Team every week for the following 7- 10 days outline and that all the information is accurate, confirmed and billing details documented and in line with the credit policy. \nTo conduct show rounds, pre con meetings, post events meetings if requested.\n\n\n
