A Conference and Events Trainer is responsible for developing, coordinating, implementing and delivering all Conference and Events , and Food and Beverage-specific training initiatives in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.

\n

What will I be doing?

\n

As a Conference and Events Trainer you would be responsible for developing, coordinating, implementing and delivering all Conference and Events , and Food and Beverage-specific training initiatives in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

\n

·        Delivering training sessions to team members and managers – this will include daytime, evenings and weekend sessions so flexibility is essential.

\n

·       Creating new training materials including presentations and handouts   

\n

·       Delivering the C&E department induction for new starters, creating a welcoming and informative first impression.

\n

·       Working with the Sub Heads of Department to create and deliver skills training sessions for their team members

\n

·       Keep detailed records of all training carried out

\n

·       Monitor online training for all C&E team members and send regular reminders to complete outstanding courses.

\n

·       Supporting the Senior Administrator with recruitment, payroll forecast, management of C&E Health and Safety Procedures and training, and management of the Hilton Meetings Point as required.

\n

·       Manage the C&E department Health and Safety procedures and training in line with hotel deadlines, supported by sub department managers, including conducting quarterly audits.

\n

·       Support sub department heads with team member appraisals by providing feedback

\n

·       Awareness of industry trends and propose ideas to build and expand the range and quality of services offered

\n

·       Maintain good communication and work relationships in all hotel areas and with external customers and suppliers

\n

·       Manage staff performance issues in compliance with company policies and procedures

\n

·       Ensure compliance with and the proper training of Team Members so that all Company Health and Safety, and Fire Regulations and procedures are understand and applied

\n

What are we looking for?

\n

A Trainer serving Hilton Worldwide Brand hotels and vacations is always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members. To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviours, skills, and values that follow:

\n

·       Previous experience in Administrative/Training role 

\n

·       Knowledge of C&E operations (preferred)

\n

·       Excellent people management skills and the ability to maintain discipline

\n

·       Exceptional communication skills

\n

·       Exceptional time management and organisational skills

\n

·       Ability to work under pressure and flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations

\n

·       A medium level of IT proficiency

\n

 

\n

It would be advantageous, in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

\n

·       Passion for delivering exceptional levels of guest service and training

\n

 

\n
