As a Conference Center Manager, you will elevate our event and guest experience at Stand Together’s headquarters in Ballston Exchange, Arlington, Virginia. You will bring a strategic approach to managing our state-of-the-art conference center and be a pivotal figure in delivering high-impact, memorable experiences for employees and guests alike. Your ability to blend luxury hospitality with an efficient operational approach will enable seamless event experiences that reflect Stand Together’s values and commitment to excellence.What You Will DoOversee the daily operations of the conference center, ensuring the facility is maintained, event setups are on point, and the overall experience meets high standards.Manage intake and booking processes to deliver exceptional service throughout each event’s lifecycle.Collaborate closely with internal partners to tailor services to their needs and foster meaningful, impactful event experiences.Develop and implement a strategic approach to service delivery, prioritizing personalization and attention to detail.Coordinate with departments such as security, facilities, audio-visual, and technology to ensure integrated service and seamless attendee experiences.Recruit, train, and manage a skilled team of conference center staff, including intake coordinators, event coordinators, and setup personnel.Prepare and oversee the conference center budget, negotiating supplier contracts and optimizing resources.Develop and monitor KPIs to measure performance, prioritize high-impact activities, and refine processes.Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to continually enhance service offerings.Ensure compliance with safety standards and maintain a clean, well-presented facility at all times.What You Will Bring8+ years of experience in venue management and the hospitality industry.Strong background in client relations and event design, with a record of success in high-end hospitality.Proven leadership experience managing on-site teams (e.g., cleaning, security, front-of-house).Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills to develop and execute exceptional hospitality concepts.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and work/project management tools.Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed by the conference schedule.
