What will I be doing?
The Hilton Brighton Metropole is now recruiting for a Conference and Events Floor Manager to focus on the bars and beverage function of the department. The successful candidate will be is responsible for managing floor operations to deliver an excellent Guest and Member experience while optimising sales and ensuring department targets are met. Guests of this hotel will experience first-class service, distinguished by an unrivalled commitment to a personalised approach. We ensure a comfortable, luxurious stays all our guests, with guidance on locally immersive experiences where desired.
\nRate of pay: £26,000 per annum

What will I be doing?
The successful candidate with manage Conference and Events Floor operations. You will be passionate about delivering an excellent Guest and Member experience whilst optimising sales and providing leadership to the team to ensure targets are met. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
\n\nManage Conference and Banqueting floor operations \nMaintain exceptional levels of customer service\nEnsure compliance of brand standards\nEvaluate guest satisfaction levels with a focus on continuous improvement\nAwareness of trends and propose ideas to build the range and quality of Conference and Banquet\nOptimise sales and contain costs, identifying any areas for action\nMaintain good communication and work relationships in all hotel areas and with external customers and suppliers\nEnsure staffing levels cover business demands\nEnsure that training is carried out on an ongoing basis\nEnsure communication meetings are conducted and post-meeting minutes generated\nManage staff performance issues in compliance with company policies and procedures\nRecruit, manage, train and develop the Front Office team\nAssist other departments wherever necessary\nWhat are we looking for?
\nTo successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviours, skills, and values that follow:
\n\nStrong knowledge of hotel/leisure/service sector\nExperience in a busy bar environment\nRecord of success in Conference and Beverage, specifically the ability to deliver profit, control costs, and build customer loyalty\nExceptional communication skills\nExceptional leadership skills to create a winning team\n\nIt would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:
\n\nHigh volume events experience in hotel/Events Centre or similar\nBar experience preferred\nDegree or diploma in Hotel Management or equivalent\nPassion for delivering exceptional levels of guest service\n\n\n
