We are looking for individual professionals that share a passion for exceptional service and who infuse enthusiasm and passion into everything they do.

What you will do

To be a liaison between the client to communicate their needs and operational departments in addition to driving revenue through cross-sellManage all food and beverage, audio visual, function room, sleep room and off-site event details.Have high level knowledge of hotel capacities and focus on creativity with meeting sets and planningManage the client per the sales contract with deposits, cut-off dates and billing instructions.Maximize food cost and present attractive menu options to upsell banquet revenueStrong attention to detail and be able to communicate effectively with the sales managers and be responsible for assigned group bookings as well as communicate details of group to entire operationPlan and/or attend and/or participate in meetings with hotel staff and clients, including but not exclusive to: Morning Operations Briefing, Morning CS Briefing, Resume Meeting, Banquet Event Order Meeting, Sales Meeting Pre-Convention Meetings, Bi-Monthly Board of Operations, Planning Visits, and Menu Tastings.Supervise the execution of banquet events. Review all function space with banquet manager and when necessary, head house attendant. Ensure satisfaction of client at the outset of all eventsFinalize the requirements of confirmed bookings while maximizing revenue potential through up selling and ensuring effective communication both written (Resumes, BEO, Daily Reports) and personal contact with all departments for the success of the event. Maintain an active trace/follow-up system.Ensure accuracy of Banquet Checks and provide bill review on completion of program or event.

What you bring

Strong passion for the hospitality industry and specifically food and beverage3-5 years of experience college degree preferred

luxury hotel or resort.

 Previous leadership experience. Ability to negotiate, organize, and delegate well.

 Excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills.

Strong time management skills: ability to multi-task, set priorities, and adjust to changing conditions. Willing to work in a fast-paced environment.

 Ability to operate all computer equipment necessary to perform the job; knowledge of Opera and Delphi preferred/is a plus.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work closely with other departments and communicate clearly and effectively with colleagues and guests.

 Ability to work long and irregular hours, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
