Northrop Grumman is seeking a Configuration Management or Principal Configuration Management Analyst. This position will be in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and will support the Subsystems and Software Sustainment Operating Unit, within the Northrop Grumman Defense Systems sector. This location primarily supports the design, delivery, and sustainment of embedded software and mission planning systems on various US and foreign airborne platforms.
The successful candidate will be responsible for configuration management of technical data, and documents related to the design, modification, production or sustainment of complex embedded defense related software systems. This includes configuration management planning, process control, and execution using the designated configuration management tool to ensure baselines are maintained and reproducible. Candidate will schedule and manage Configuration Control Board activities and will be responsible for configuration identification, configuration audits, and controlling the CM process to ensure only valid and approved updates are incorporated into product baselines and other technical documentation. Candidate will also be responsible for maintaining, updating, and improving Configuration Management processes and procedures. Candidate may also be tasked with other engineering support activities within the document management, and DMSMS areas under Support Engineering.
Candidate must have strong interpersonal and communication (written / verbal) skills and is expected to execute the configuration manager role with limited day to day guidance in a fast-paced team environment.
Basic Qualifications for Configuration Management Analyst level:
Bachelor’s Degree and 3 years’ experience, (or 7 years’ experience in with High School Diploma/GED) supporting configuration management in a US Department of Defense environment; 1 year experience with Master’s Degree is also accepted
Able to work in a fast-paced production environment with ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands simultaneously.
Excellent communication, business analytical and problem-solving/trouble shooting skills.
Effective Customer Service skills/capabilities with a demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally inside and outside the organization.
Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office products including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
Demonstrated experience with Microsoft SharePoint including uploading documents, revising metadata, starting/monitoring workflows
Ability to obtain a secret security clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
Active Secret Security Clearance is highly preferred
Bachelor's Degree and 3+ years experience with one or more of the following: Microsoft Power BI, Microsoft Power Automate, Microsoft Visio, SharePoint
5+ years’ experience supporting the development, sustainment, or deployment of US military avionics or software systems

Salary Range: $59,000.00 - $88,400.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
