Configuration Analyst/ Early Career / Dallas, TX

Description:Configuration Data Management tasks to include scheduling, tracking, and submitting of Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs) per contractual requirements.
• Input and maintain data in a database
• Prepare weekly program briefings and present at program staff meetings
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure data is submitted in a timely manner and meets contractual requirements
• Interface with the Customer and Subcontractors on submittals and approval requirements. Schedule and track Subcontractor Data Requirements Lists (SDRLs)
• Maintain electronic and hard copies of data as required. Prepare data for archival and maintain archive records for retrieval as required
• Protect and maintain the government and contractor controlled technical data package
• Maintain an accurate As-Designed configuration within the PLM database for all end item deliverables
• Review and provide comments for Engineering Releases and verify that all comments have been incorporated correctly
• Monitor all release activity after CCB approval, release, and distribution processing to ensure error-free final completion of effort. Coordinate resolution for errors/omissions with appropriate area of responsibility
• Prepare request for DD250 and transmittal of non-electronic data for customer and subcontractor deliverables
• Generate Engineering Releases in PDM to process documents (specifications, Engineering Release Records, etc.).
• Create unique CD's and electronic uploads for deliveries, as required
• Prepare record releases of subcontractor/supplier data
• Maintain program access control for CM systems/tools
• Participate in review of all Contracts, which includes providing comments regarding the content in the Terms & Conditions, Statement of Work, Contract Data Requirements List, and Document Summary List, as well as verification of comment incorporation
• Maintain Document Number Assignment Logs
• Prepare and update work instructions as required which requires comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office
Basic Qualifications:
• Candidate must be able to meet the requirements for obtaining a secret clearance
• Working knowledge of data management tools and methods for tracking deliverables from/to customer and from/to sub-contractors
• Must have a working knowledge of database management systems
• Must possess analytical skills to synthesize complex or diverse information, collect and research data, utilize intuition and experience to complement data, analyze customer requirements against allocated constraints and have a desire and ability to learn new technical and design skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Liberal Arts, Industrial Engineering, or related discipline
• Experience with electronic data vaulting and digital data handling
• Must have comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to build effective working relationships
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Demonstrated presentation experience presenting to large groups
• Demonstrated customer interface experience
• Technical writing experience
Desired Skills:
• Experienced in DOD and Commercial Configuration Management practices and knowledge of EIA-649, National Consensus Standard for Configuration Management and experience implementing and conducting a Configuration Management program per MIL-HDBK-61(A), Configuration Management Guidance
• Understanding of the ASME (American Society of Mechanical Engineers) and ANSI (American National Standards Institute) Y14 drafting, drawing and documentation standards
• Working knowledge of hardware and software configuration management and version control tools and methods

Ability to Work Remotely: Full-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work remotely full time at a location other than a Lockheed Martin designated office/job site. Employees may travel to a Lockheed Martin office for periodic meetings.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $47,800 - $91,500. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

This position is incentive plan eligible.
Pay Rate:
