General Description\n
The Configuration Analyst supports the product lifecycle management of internally created Engineering Technical Data Packages (TDP), build-to-print TDPs and Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) data deliverables This position interfaces with multifunctional engineering, program management, ILS, purchasing, logistics, production, maintenance and sustainment departments to maintain the configuration of delivered products, systems and maintain the latest revisions of the Quality Management Systems (QMS) and Safety Management System (SMS) documents and files.\n
Duties \n\nExecute configuration management activities for programs\nWork with Program Managers and project engineers to develop Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) requirements\nDevelop Physical Configuration Audit (PCA) and Functional Configuration Audit (FCA) plans\nConduct configuration audits and track audit action items to closure\nCreate and maintain Configuration Status Accounting Records\nMaintain and document baselines, and configuration history of Configuration Item's (CI) and systems\nAnalyze Engineering Change Requests of product baselines to determine the effect on product Cis\nOther duties as assigned\n\n
Education\/Experience Requirements\n\nHigh school diploma or GED required\nA minimum of 5 years of Configuration Management experience is required\nUnderstanding and experience with EIA-649, EIA-649-1 and MIL-HDBK-61B CM processes is required\nExperience with drawing and document release processes is required\nAbility to determine lower level and next higher level Configuration Items (CI) from engineering drawing's parts list is required\nAbility to develop Bills Of Materials (BOM) from engineering drawings is required\nExperience in developing configuration audit plans required\nExperience in executing Physical Configuration Audits (PCA) is required\nExperience with configuration management of engineering drawings within a Product Data Manager (PDM) database is required\nProficiency in document management within SharePoint is required\nAdvanced MS Office skills are required\nSelf-starter with strong interpersonal, leadership and team skills and demonstrated ability to achieve results is required\nMust be able to obtain and maintain a Government Security Clearance\nWe maintain a drug-free workplace and perform post offer, pre-employment substance abuse testing.\n\n
