Our work depends on a Configuration Analyst Sr Advisor joining our team to evolve and maintain network infrastructure for the Department of Energy, National Nuclear Security Administration.

HOW A CONFIGURATION ANALYST SR ADVISOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

•    Provides configuration management support to assigned projects
•    Designs and establishes configuration management documentation
•    Describes provisions for configuration identification, change control, configuration status accounting, and configuration audits. 
•    Regulates the change process so that only approved and validated changes are incorporated into product documents and related software.
•    Integrates software, develops external interfaces, and maintains technical documentation
•    Designs and develops most aspects of data conversion
•    Builds and develops application tables/panels/reports, and codes individual modules and complex functions for a client/server enterprise application
•    Expertise in Problem Management and Troubleshoots and resolves testing issues
•    Develops tools/scripts to support and improve current build and release process and continuous integration and delivery initiatives
•    Ensures the integrity of builds and artifacts to support successful production releases
•    Drives technology release strategy, execution, and improvements across development life cycle
•    Collaborates with other departments to implement best practices for release tools and process and improve productivity

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:


•     Education: Master’s Degree (substitutions will be based on additional years of experience)


•    Required Experience: 15+ years of related experience 


•    Required Technical Skills: Demonstrated ability with Configuration Management, Troubleshooting, Problem Management, Software Integration, Technical Documentation


•    Security Clearance Level:

U.S. Citizenship RequiredPossess Q or TS level clearance (or their equivalency) with the ability to obtain a Q level clearanceMust be eligible to obtain and maintain such clearance as a condition of employment


•    Required Skills and Abilities: Proficient Written and Oral Communication; Organization, Problem Solving, Communication, Technical Documentation, and Teamwork.


•    Location: On-site in Germantown, MD
