Configuration & Change Manager Date: 21 Jan 2025 Location: Cairo, Cairo, EG, 11672 Company: COLAS RAIL EGYPTE Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Rail and Metro Configuration & Change Manager to oversee the configuration and change management processes for our transportation projects. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity and smooth transition of configuration items and changes within our rail and metro systems. Desired Skills: + Professional certification in Configuration Management (CMII, CMBB, etc.). + Familiarity with safety-critical standards and regulations specific to rail and metro systems (e.g., EN 50126, CENELEC). + Experience with configuration management tools, such as IBM Rational ClearCase, SVN, or similar platforms. + Knowledge of change management principles and practices, including ITIL change management processes. + Understanding of system integration, system architecture, and requirements management in the rail and metro industry. Required Qualifications: + Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred. + Minimum of 5 years of experience in configuration and change management within the rail and metro industry, with a strong emphasis on system integration and compliance with safety-critical standards. + Proven track record of managing configuration control and change management processes for rail or metro projects, demonstrating a thorough understanding of configuration management tools and methodologies. + Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess the impact of changes on system configurations and identify potential risks and opportunities. + Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
